One of the best things about my mother was tnat she stood truly affixed to strong and vocal convictions. I think maybe becuase she appeared so little and non threatening, she was able to further dress down a dressed down registrar.

She happily referred to tattoos as "common" and would disown me were I to acquire one.

What she would make of this whole entire fiasco! is what is keeping me breathing.


She would not, however, have accepted the Partner's Daughter playing Probate Lawyer in a dress that amazingly managed to expose both chunks of cleavage and a whole hunk of arm flesh that told us "we couldn't afford her service sto cancel, likkke, your mum's umm Netflix???!!"
